No one ever said no to a little bit of Chinese food. They are all around you, and one decadent plate of chilli chicken or veg fried rice is enough to make you want to cheat on your diet. Another such treat we can have at any point of the day is chopsuey. A stir-fry often comprising juicy chunks of meat, vegetables, mushrooms any seasoning, chopsuey could be paired with rice or noodles. You can also make a vegetarian version of the dish for yourself too and we have just the right recipe that will sail you through.

You would need some boiled noodles, chopped cabbage, chopped onions, chopped carrots, chopped capsicum, chopped garlic, corn flour, soya sauce, vinegar, sugar, salt and that's about it. All of these are easily available ingredients, and most of them even perpetually present in our kitchens.

To make this chunky treat, you would have to make a slurry of soy sauce, salt, sugar, corn flour, vinegar and water. Fry the noodles until brown and crisp in another pan. Take it out. Stir-fry other vegetables until cooked and mix it with the slurry. Mix it well. Cook until it thickens.
